Web12 apr. 2024 · We are implementing changes at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust to improve our community midwifery service so that it meets the needs of our local population. We have established three mixed caseload teams providing total care to women with low and complex needs. These teams are based in Brent, Westminster, Ealing and Acton. WebFrom expressing no explicit need of a midwifery model of woman-centred care before the intervention, there was a shift in midwives, obstetricians and managers perceptions towards identifying advantages of using the MiMo as it gives words to woman-centred midwifery care. Such shift in perception was not found among the assistant nurses.
