The left side "pedal" is long and goes to the back of the tranny, crosses over, and hooks up somehow to the shift stud coming out of the tranny. I still haven't seen it yet but that is how it was described to me by the owner. This would not be a perminate modification to the bike, and could be easily changed back for the purest out there.
